Remote monitoring has been something that was started years ago with Dri Eaz and GE working on the Hygrotrac system but the high cost, IT knowledge needed to setup, and hit or miss cell service signals killed it before it was able to become a trend. The time may have been too soon or maybe the industry was not yet ready for them since the majority of contractors were not even using a Job Management system or Moisture Mapping software in that day and age. However today is a new day and thanks to the sharp team over at Phoenix the newest age of remote monitoring for water jobs is here with a cheaper cost to implement, more reliable technology ( Bluetooth and 4G service w Verizon) and they have even made a free Moisture Mapping app to go along with it to get your company more organized called DryLink. This seems to be one of the few good things happening in the past year of unexpected pandemics and lack of storm activity for most restorers. Cheers to a better 2021 and more efficiency in your drying and monitoring of projects!
